We have had a LOT of rain the past few days. Joseph is very happy about it, as he says our plants need it. But I'm not so happy, as it has resulted in some very loud and scary thunderstorms. One of which resulted in the following:

This branch came off of the large pecan tree on the left. A branch from the same tree fell last year and broke one of our patio chairs. This branch took down two chairs, but luckily they both seem okay. I'm just nervous about the tree falling on our house!
This afternoon it is bright and sunny, and I'm hoping it holds out as we have a company outing to the Braves game tonight. We have having a bunch of coworkers over to pre-game, so I'm crossing my fingers the weather will be good and we can enjoy our patio and porch.
