Blog Lapse

When I started this blog, my goal was to write a post every day (or at least every other day).  Unfortunately, I discovered our lives just aren't that interesting!  I don't have cute daily photos to post (unless you want to be overwhelmed with photos of Lucy), and we usually don't do anything too exciting during the week.  But I will try to think harder and keep up with the blog a little better.  I know my favorite parts of blogs are all the photos, so I will try to take more.

Here is what we've been up to since my last post:

• We went to the Braves vs. Yankees game with Abby, Stephan, Laura, Erin, and Jon.  They came over to our house beforehand to grill out, and then we biked over to the stadium.  It is great living only 1.5 miles away!  It rained a little on the way there, but it cooled us down, and we were covered by the roof during the game.  It was a rare weeknight out, and we had fun.
• Last weekend we had NO plans and it was wonderful.  We made a last-minute double date with the Mlynarskis on Friday and went to dinner at Sun in my Belly in Kirkwood.  Delicious!  Saturday I shopped for clothes while Joseph shopped for house and aquarium supplies.  We finally have the aquarium and now Joseph is getting it ready for fish.
• This past Tuesday I hosted "Bunco" for my group of girlfriends.  I put it in quotation marks because we no longer actually play Bunco; we just eat, drink, and chat.  It was very fun, although it was tough for me to throw together a dinner party on a work night.  Next time I will be more organized.
• We are still showing the condo to potential renters, with increased frequency.  We have a few applications that are supposed to be coming in, plus 7 showings scheduled for Saturday, so we're hopeful we will fill the condo soon.
