Mother's Day

May 11 was my first Mother's Day, and it was pretty great!  I don't really remember what we did Saturday that weekend (that's what I get for being so behind on my blog posts), but I think we just relaxed around the house and did errands.  Maybe went for a walk.

Sunday was Mother's Day, and after I fed Lola in the morning, Joseph took her and let me sleep until 9 am.  That was amazing!!  I got up and went into the bathroom, and when I came out, breakfast was waiting for me in bed.  How wonderful :)

We went up to Julie's house at 1, as Becca had her first communion that day.  Joseph's parents came into town, and there was a lot of Jake's family there as well (his parents, five of his six siblings and their families, plus some extended family).  It was a great party - they had tons of delicious food, and Becca was very pretty and proud of her first communion.

Joseph gave me a present, since Lola isn't quite capable of that yet.  He made me a wooden box for storing all of my Mother's Day cards.  It was so sweet.

My breakfast
Playing with Rachel
Knocking the blocks down
Becca opening her presents
With Poppy and Meemaw (blurry because she wouldn't stop moving)
Me & Lola
Us again
Playing at home after the party
With her newly-converted exersaucer
