In mid-May, we went to my boss's lake house on Lake Eatonton (another delayed post, as I struggle to catch up on the blog). Jason and Sunjin both work at PowerPlan and have been there since I started. They bought a lake house last year and have been renovating it. When our team discussed how we wanted to celebrate the software release, we coerced them into having a gathering at their lake house.
We all had a blast! Despite the fact that we got there super late due to baby scheduling and underestimating the travel time, we were still able to spend several hours. We had a delicious cookout and then just relaxed, with some people venturing into the lake. Their house is beautiful - I love all of Sunjin's design choices. They have two dogs, so we brought Lucy along, and she had a lot of fun too. Even though she fell in the water at one point and kind of freaked out.
