Lola - 11 Months

I can't believe Lola is almost ONE YEAR OLD.  She turned 11 months last Monday.  I just sent invitations to her first birthday party, and it feels surreal.

Lola continues to develop and change every day.  She is always on the move - she is a super speedy crawler, and she can cruise around while holding onto things.  She has stood on her own a few times for just a short while, but she hasn't taken any steps yet.  Although I think she's close!

Lola is getting much better at eating.  She's tried lots of foods, and her favorites appear to be meat and bread.  No fruit or veggies for her!  Although she does like avocado, and she finally put some strawberries in her mouth this week.

She is a great sleeper and consistently sleeps 10-11 hours at night, usually from about 7:30pm until 6:30am.  She has also gotten into the habit of two naps - one in the morning around 9, and one in the afternoon around 1:30.  The length is pretty sporadic - sometimes she'll sleep an hour and half, and other times she'll sleep 30 minutes.

Lola has all four top front teeth coming in now.  The two on the sides have mostly poked through, and the middle two are working their way out.  It's resulted in a bit of fussiness, but nothing too bad.  We tried an amber teething necklace, but it didn't seem to make much of a difference (although it did look cute).  We took it off after a couple of weeks because she started pulling on it.

All in all, Lola continues to be a great baby, and we love every day with her.  She is so smiley, giggly, and happy.
