Thanksgiving at the Trapolds

For Thanksgiving this year, we decided to drive up to Pittsburgh since we'll be in LA for Christmas.  We drove so that we could take Lucy - of course we couldn't leave our baby at home :)  So despite the fact that I HATE long road trips, I put up with it so that we could have her with us.

We drove up Monday, and it wasn't so bad.  The weather was nice, and we made it in about 12 hours, including all of our stops.  Tuesday morning I went to a women's weight class with my mom - at the senior center.  Yes, it was a little strange, but it was fun!  And those ladies are in good shape.  I was definitely hurting after the workout.

Thursday was "the big day" - we hosted about 20 people at my parents' house for Thanksgiving dinner.  My aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.  It was great to see everyone!  And everything went perfectly - my mom did a great job preparing everything.  We even ate on real china!

Friday we met Erin and Chris for lunch downtown at Meat & Potatoes, and we always have a good time when we see them.  I wish we could hang out more often!

Saturday was the big surprise party, which I'll write a separate post about.  And then Sunday we headed home.  It was a nice visit, and we loved spending time with my family.
