Paige's Bachelorette Party & Shower

My BFF Paige is getting married in just over a month!  To celebrate, we had a bachelorette party for her over Valentine's Day weekend (or more importantly, President's Day weekend, so Paige had Monday off and could travel to Atlanta).  Luckily Joseph didn't mind spending V Day with his other lovely ladies (Lola & Lucy).

For the party, Paige's sister Laura planned a getaway to their parents' cabin in Big Canoe, in the North Georgia mountains.  Which is actually the same cabin where I had my bachelorette party almost five years ago.  Laura is an amazing planner/crafter/hostess, so everything was perfect.  We arrived at noon on Saturday and had a delicious lunch.  Then we hung around the cabin, chatted, went for a little walk, and played some games.  We went to dinner at the local Mexican restaurant, and then we headed back for more talking and games.  It was a very relaxing and fun day.  Sunday we had a lazy morning and headed home around 10.

That afternoon Paige's mom Pam hosted a wedding shower for her.  It was small - family and close friends.  We played a trivia game about Paige and Courtney, and had a nice Chinese-themed meal.

It was a great weekend, and I was happy to get to spend so much time with Paige.  I am so excited for  her and Courtney - can't wait until the wedding!
