This year Joseph and I decided to fly to Los Angeles to spend Christmas with his brothers, Philip and Tom, and sister-in-law, Tatiana. We went for a whole week, and it was great to spend so much time with them!
Philip and Tatiana were great hosts, and we stayed with them while Tom stayed nearby (he was housesitting/dogsitting for a friend). We ate a lot of good food at various restaurants near their house, and we took some time to explore the city. Unfortunately my "morning" (more like "all day") sickness prevented us from doing too much, but we still had fun just being together.
Here are the highlights:
- Hike to the LA-96 Nike Missile Site
- Cooking Christmas dinner
- Christmas evening Clippers game at the Staples Center
- Visit to the Getty Center
- Saw the Endeavor at the California Science Center
- Visit to the Griffith Park Observatory
