Last Saturday I found out that I am pregnant! Joseph and I were both very surprised - and of course excited (although tentatively). Based on my calculations, I'm about 4.5 weeks along, so it is still very early. I made my first check-up appointment for January 7, so I will wait impatiently until then. I am keeping positive and hoping that this pregnancy goes better than my first.
Unfortunately the holidays make it difficult to hide my pregnancy. I have three holiday parties next week, plus we're going out to LA to visit Tom, Philip, and Tatiana for Christmas. I will need to work on my fake drinking skills :) I would like to wait until 12 weeks to tell most people (just in case of complications), although we may tell family and close friends earlier.
