Trapold visit

My parents rented a house in Naples, Florida, for the month of February.  I guess they are going to test out what it would be like to be retirees in South Florida.  On their drive down, they decided to stop in Atlanta for a few days.  We always love having them - it's great to see them, plus my mom acts like a chef and maid when she's here :)

They arrived late Wednesday night (Joseph and I were in bed already), so we didn't really get to spend time with them until Thursday night.  Mom and Dad worked together to make us a delicious dinner of Chicken Marsala.  After dinner, we all just relaxed and watched TV.  Friday night they cooked for us again (swiss steak), and it was delicious as well.  Unfortunately, the dishwasher decided to stop working on Thursday, so we (meaning my mom and Joseph) had to do all the dishes by hand.

Saturday we went to the mall so that Joseph could pick out some new work clothes.  I also had to stop by the Apple store since I had managed to kill my MacBook Pro (which is a work laptop) on Friday night (it was not a good week for electronics in our house).  Unfortunately they couldn't fix it, but at least Joseph's shopping trip was a success.  We also stopped by Pottery Barn Kids to look at some baby things.  Everything is so cute!  But we didn't buy anything yet - we'll probably wait until we find out the sex.  I did have to buy some maternity pants at the Gap though, as I am definitely getting bigger.

Saturday night we had a nice dinner out at Veni Vidi Vici.  Everything there is always great, and my parents really enjoyed it.

Sunday we went to Lowes and purchased a new dishwasher - how exciting.  It was luckily an easy decision, as we just bought the newer, nicer version of the one we had since we liked it.  Then we had a low-key day at home.  Mom made lasagna, I did laundry, and Joseph worked outside.

Tomorrow is my 12-week appointment, and my mom and Joseph are going to come with me.  I'm very excited/nervous/anxious!
