I've skipped my weekly update posts since we've pretty much been consumed with baby stuff this month. And I've covered almost everything in the Thomas updates. Here's a brief summary of some other activities we've done:
- Book Club - I went to my first girls' night post-baby, and it was great to get out of the house and spend some time with my girlfriends. I took Thomas with me so that he could nurse as needed, and everyone loved meeting him.
- Fernbank - We, along with my parents, went to Fernbank last weekend - Lola's first trip, and obviously Thomas' first trip. Lola was a little young for most of the exhibits, and she was scared of the dinosaurs (and a few other things). I thought she would like the NatureQuest area, which is geared towards kids, but she didn't seem too interested. So we will put off our next visit for a while.
- Couch shopping - Joseph and I decided we need a new couch, as ours has some issues. So we went shopping last Sunday and this past Sunday (thanks to my parents for watching Lola so we didn't have to shop with a toddler), and we finally decided on one from Bassett. It should arrive sometime in February - very exciting!
So we haven't been up to much, other than raising a baby and toddler :)
