Visit from Molly

Our niece Molly, who lives in San Antonio and is the daughter of Joseph's brother Ed, visited us last weekend.  She actually flew into Atlanta two weeks ago, and she spent a few days with Julie and Jake before heading to Chattanooga to stay with her uncle and aunt on the other side of the family (her mom Jenny's brother and his wife).  They have two little girls (2 years old and 5 months old), so Molly went to help out and spend some time with her cousins.  She's only 10, but she's very mature and responsible :)

We picked her up Saturday morning and headed back to our house.  We gave Molly a brief tour since it was her first visit to our house.  After a walk with Lucy, we headed out for a pizza lunch and some grocery shopping.

Joseph and I had plans to attend a baby shower for Jessica and Wally Saturday afternoon, so we dropped Molly off at the Neals' house to spend some more time with them and their girls.  We had a great time at the shower - it was nice to go out and hang out with friends.  We're so excited for Jessica and Wally!  She is due about 2.5 weeks after me and is also having a girl, so I'm sure there will be many playdates in the future.

We went back to the Neals' to pick up Molly and hung out for a little while.  Then we drove home, and Molly and I went to bed pretty early as it had been an exhausting day.

Sunday we had a nice, leisurely breakfast.  Molly helped me make eggs, bacon, pancakes, and fruit.  It was delicious and a nice treat, since I usually just eat cereal for breakfast.  Then I dropped off Joseph and Molly at Six Flags for the day.  I couldn't go with them, for obvious reasons.  I ran a few errands and picked them up in the afternoon.  They had a blast!  Molly loves roller coasters.  We finished the day with dinner and a movie at home.  Molly flew home Monday morning (and we learned a lot about traveling policies for minors in the process).  It was so great to spend time with our niece!  Hopefully it won't be too long before our next visit.

The whole Breuer clan headed to Colorado yesterday for the annual family trip.  Sadly, Joseph and I couldn't join them because it's too close to my due date.  We hope they have a wonderful time, and we look forward to joining them next year!
