This past weekend my best friend Paige came to town to visit family, celebrate her birthday early, and of course meet Lola. It was so great to see her!
Friday afternoon she came to our house with her boyfriend Courtney and her parents, Arnie and Pam (who are my Atlanta "parents"). We had a nice visit, even though Lola was a bit fussy at times. Saturday we saw them briefly at the Georgia Tech tailgate, and then Sunday we went up to their house in Kennesaw for Paige's birthday dinner. We hung out for a few hours, catching up and eating lots of great food. Lola loved meeting Aunt Paige and can't wait to see her again! And obviously Lola loves the whole DePetro family. Vince, Heather and Mike's son, took a liking to Lola and enjoyed petting her with leaves and giving her kisses. He's already betrothed to Matteson, but we're sure they'll be great friends!
