Another Visit from the Trapolds
My parents stopped by for a visit on their way down to Florida in January, and they stopped by again this week on their way home. They arrived Monday afternoon. Mom and I went to Lola's school to pick her up, and Lola was so excited to see her - she ran straight into her arms. We picked up some pizza for dinner on our way back and had a nice night at home. Joseph and I taught my parents Euchre after Lola went to bed, and Dad and I won.
Tuesday they kept Lola home from school and took her to the Children's Museum in the morning. It sounded like they had a lot of fun! They were there for an hour or two, and then they came home for lunch and nap. Mom made us a delicious pork chop dinner - it's so nice to have dinner ready and waiting for you when you get home from work. We made it an early evening since we were all so tired.
Wednesday Lola went to school, but my parents picked her up early. Mom walked back with her in the stroller since it was so nice outside. They made dinner for us again, and we played Euchre again after Lola went to bed. Joseph and I won the first game, then we switched partners and Joseph and Dad beat me and Mom.
Thursday morning they left to drive back to Pittsburgh. It was a short visit, but we had fun and will see them in a few weeks in DC.
Storytime with Grandma
Hanging out on the porch with Grandpa (she just likes to climb in the stroller and buckle herself)
Spinning in the kitchen
She adores her "Papa"
Grandma & Grandpa
A video of the spinning - she got dizzy at one point and fell down (not captured on video).
