We had a very productive and busy weekend! Hence why I didn't post yesterday, and thus my goal to post every day has failed early.
Joseph has been working on custom bookshelves for our office for a few months now, and they are THISCLOSE to being finished. On Saturday he finished the detailing and stained them, and last night we put on the first coat of polyurethane. This week we'll do one more coat of poly and then start putting the books on the shelves. I can't wait! I will post photos when everything is finished.
In addition to the bookshelves, I cleaned both the front and back porches to get ready for summer. Joseph went to our condo and did some maintenance work to prepare for the next tenant (whom we will hopefully find soon).
We did have some fun this weekend, including multiple walks with Lucy and a party in Piedmont Park for friends who are moving to New York.
