For the first time in a long time, we had a weekend with no trips or major chores. It was wonderful!
Friday night we went to the Turanos' house in Cabbagetown to celebrate Stephan's birthday. It was a fun night hanging out with friends we hadn't seen in a while.
Saturday night we hosted a party for our neighbors. We have lived in our house for a year and a half, but we have never really socialized with our neighbors. So we invited over neighbors that we had met from various parts of Grant Park, although most live on our street. We spent most of Saturday preparing for the party - cleaning the house and yard, buying food and drink, etc. Our guests came over at 7 and hung around until midnight. It was great getting to spend time with and get to know our neighbors. They are all great!
Sunday we relaxed most of the day, except for a quick trip to the condo to show it to two potential tenants. We've had a lot of interest in it lately, so we hope to rent it by the end of the month. Cross your fingers!
