Brushing Teeth

When we first introduced brushing teeth, Lola hated it.  She'd wriggle and squirm to avoid us putting the toothbrush in her mouth.  But she would chew on the baby toothbrushes (the kind without bristles, just plastic nubs), so that helped get her used to putting it in her mouth.

Now she loves brushing her teeth.  We say, "Time to brush your teeth!", and she runs right into the bathroom and points at the toothbrush.  She uses a toddler toothbrush and toothpaste, which is fruit-flavored, so I'm sure that's part of the reason.  But she also likes just walking around with the toothbrush in her mouth, moving it around.  I'm not sure how well she cleans her teeth, so I try to follow up with a few brushes if she'll let me.

It's really cute when she's wandering around brushing her teeth, so I tried to capture it with photos.  They're a little blurry, as most of my photos now tend to be.  Lola never stands still.
