Children's Museum

Lola's school was closed over the holidays, so I took advantage of being home with her and took her to the Children's Museum on January 2.  I had bought an annual membership on Black Friday for just $50 (thanks for the tip, Jessica!).  Hopefully we get to use it a lot this year.  I expected it to be very crowded since schools were closed, but we got there right when it opened at 10, so it took a while to get busy.  It was super packed when we left around 11:30.

The museum has activities for all ages, but it definitely seemed geared toward children slightly older than Lola.  But she still seemed to enjoy running around and checking everything out.  There was a section specifically for toddlers, and it had a water area set up where you can "fish".  They even had little raincoats to put on over the children's clothes.  Lola loved that activity the best.  She also loved picking up plastic balls from the floor; there was an area for older kids where you can move balls through a bunch of obstacles using machines, and the balls ended up pretty much everywhere.

We are looking forward to our next visit!

Peering into the delivery truck
This is mostly what she did the whole visit - run around
Fishing
She certainly loves water!
Splashing
She ran up and down this ramp at least 50 times
