The first two weeks were rough, with Lola waking every few hours during the night (if she even went to sleep at all). But then she seemed to get her days and nights figured out and things vastly improved. We started putting her to bed around 9 each night, and she slept until between 2 and 4, woke up to eat, and then slept some more until 7 or 8. I could handle that, especially since she usually went back to sleep without much effort.
For the past three nights, Lola has slept from between 9pm and 10pm until 6:30am! It has been wonderful. I'm still waking since I expect her to wake up to eat, but it's so nice not to have to get out of bed in the middle of the night. Then after her morning feeding, she has gone back to sleep until 9. I hope she keeps this up! Of course when I go back to work, we both won't be able to go back to bed until 9 (unfortunately).
Naps have been variable. At the beginning she would nap for two hours a couple of times each day. Now she naps for an hour or less several times a day. But she has quiet alert periods too, and those are nice and relaxing. We try to leave the house at least once a day, and she likes to nap on walks, in the car, or when we are out at lunch.

Hooray Lola! M was the same way. Sleep made me feel human again pretty quickly. Hope she keeps it up!
